FIES REBATE FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

If you are a health professional who has been on the front line fighting COVID-19 during the critical health emergency period (from February 2020 to May 2022), we have excellent news for you! The Unified Health System (SUS) recognizes your dedication and is offering you an exclusive benefit.

What is a rebate?

The rebate is a right granted to health professionals who meet the following criteria:

• Have worked in the SUS for at least 6 months without interruption.
• They used the Student Financing Fund (FIES) to pay for their degree.

If you meet any of the criteria mentioned above, you will be entitled to a rebate of 1% per month on the consolidated outstanding balance, including interest. This means that your debt will be gradually reduced, easing your financial commitment.
